There is always something exciting happening in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Just as the famous Edinburgh Festival comes to an end, the city can look forward to some two wheel excitement as the Tour of Britain passes through the capital. Set to speed down the Royal Mile, just a stone’s throw from the luxurious Old Town Chambers, on Wednesday 9th September some of the world’s top cyclists will make the 218km journey from Edinburgh to Blyth.
The 2015 Aviva Tour of Britain is set across an eight day period and riders will cover a distance of 1,451 kilometres, including three stages over 200 kilometres. The tour will start in Anglesey and finish at Hartside Fell, Cumbria.
